Prior to entering the full-service data centre business, L&T was a pioneer in building critical hard-asset data infrastructure for marquee customers, with  over a dozen data centres built for in Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar, among other cities of India.

When L&T ventured into managing its own state-of-the-art data centre services, as part of its five-year strategy plan. to the intent was to improve operating economics, broaden the scope of services and deepen our client relationships with this offering.

Larsen & Toubro-Vyoma is an integral part of ‘Lakshya 2013’ L&T’s strategic 5 year plan, which also focuses on building and scaling a raft of new-age businesses to futureproof the $30 billion Indian conglomerate. L&T aspires to own, operate and scale-up sovereign-grade, AI-ready data centre infrastructure. Presently, Larsen & Toubro-Vyoma has 32MW of installed data centre capacity.

  • 2MW data centre at Panvel [Mumbai, Maharashtra] went live in November 2023
  • 30MW data centre at Chennai became operational in September 2024
